The double screw cone mixer is a highly efficient dry powder mixing equipment, which is widely used in fertilizer, chemical, pesticide, medicine, food additives, building materials and other industries. It rotates in the conical cylinder through two staggered spiral shafts to achieve rapid and uniform mixing of materials.
Selection of machine body material:
The manufacturing materials of the double screw cone mixer can be diversified, including carbon steel, manganese steel, 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, 321 stainless steel, etc., and it also supports the mixed use of different materials. When selecting materials, it is necessary to distinguish between the parts in contact with the material and the non-contact parts.
In order to enhance the performance of the equipment, functional coatings or protective layers such as anti-corrosion, anti-adhesion, isolation, and wear resistance can be added to the inside of the mixer. In addition, the stainless steel surface can also be sandblasted, brushed, polished, mirrored, etc. to meet different usage requirements.

Drive configuration:
The drive device of the double screw cone mixer is configured according to the nature of the material, the starting method and the process requirements, and drive devices of different power and capacity can be selected. The double screw cone mixer is equipped with a special double-output reducer combination box, which can be customized in the form of cycloidal pinwheel, gear, worm gear, etc.
1: A two-stage cycloidal pinwheel reducer is adopted, and the upper cover is a fixed arc structure.
2: A gear and cycloidal composite reduction structure is adopted, and the upper cover is a flange-type elliptical head structure.
3: A two-stage gear reducer is adopted, and the upper cover is a flange-type flat plate structure.
4: A gear and worm gear composite reduction structure is adopted, and the upper cover is a flange-type flat plate structure.
Discharging device:
The double screw cone mixer is equipped with a powder spherical valve or a plum blossom dislocation valve as a discharging device. The design of the powder spherical valve fits the running surface of the spiral bottom, effectively reducing the mixing dead angle and achieving a larger discharge port area to ensure that the discharge residue is minimized.
The spherical valve has good sealing performance and is suitable for powders, liquids and even negative pressure conditions. The plum blossom offset valve is easy to operate, can control the discharge speed, and can be used in combination with the long spiral bottom support device. The valve drive mode is available in three options: manual, pneumatic, and electric.
Auxiliary components:
In order to achieve temperature control when mixing materials, the double-helix conical mixing equipment can be equipped with a circulating medium jacket or a steam coil jacket. The contact surface between the barrel of the double screw cone mixer and the material can be added with anti-corrosion, anti-adhesion, and metal isolation coatings for the properties of the material. For working conditions with greater wear, the stirring spiral can be welded with wear-resistant alloys.
When a small amount of liquid needs to be added, a liquid spray device should be configured to facilitate the uniform dispersion and mixing of the liquid in the main material. The liquid spray system consists of three basic components: a pressure source, a liquid storage tank, and a nozzle.
